Before we pick up your bike

A few small things on your side make everything smoother:

  • Give it a wash. A clean bike makes existing scratches and scuffs easy to spot on the inspection form.

  • Keep the tank about 25% full. It keeps the weight down, meets transport safety guidelines, and leaves enough fuel to move the bike during loading.

  • Take off your extras. Phone mounts, saddlebags, loose toolkits and other non-factory accessories can go missing or get damaged, so remove them first.

  • Keep your papers handy. Photocopies of your RC and valid insurance, plus a photo ID, for checkpost verification.
